Priority
Our coffee room is just opposite the Medical Oncology Op and when the door opens we are treated to a view of the section of patients.Upteen times in the coffee room at 11 am the discussion hovers round the state of th eart mobile phones-ipods and the most expensive cars in the market and when the door opens when each physician enters we get a glimpse of the multitude waiting for an appointment and few realise the meaning of the word priority-
- his priority is getting an appointment ,
- raising money for chemotherapy
- getting ready for the bad news
- bracing for the bleak future
- loosing someone who is very dear to you
- gropinh with loneliness
- Pennuary
While inside the priorities are
- the latest mobile phone
- The latest car
- Novel gadgets
- Clothes
Probably this disparity is what is the mayhem called life

A Gift
This was something send to me as a message by one of my patients and I presume that it will teach us a lot
Our life begins with our cry,
Our life ends with anther's cry,
Try to use the gap in between,
Laugh as much as possible in between these cries.
Our life begins with our cry,
Our life ends with anther's cry,
Try to use the gap in between,
Laugh as much as possible in between these cries.

Perspective
Wirking in a cancer hospital makes us introspeect qiute often.Priorities are different and the very fact that life is precious only for the who knows that he is on the verge of loosing it.At least for sometime we should try to be in someothers shoes and only then can we knpw how lucky we are.and ask ourselves another question -- What did we do for the betterment of other persons life=
The answer mostly would be nothing
The answer mostly would be nothing
